The Obsessed Analytic Blog Carnival is designed to call attention to the best blogs on the internet that help you Find Time, Save Money, and Have Fun.  Each week, ten of the best posts online will be highlighted by that week’s carnival host which helps promote the host and the best blogs.

Hosting

If you have a blog and would like to host, please follow the steps below.  All hosts receive a link from this website along with links from the top submitting blogs which will help to improve your sites followers and, potentially, reputation.

1. Contact me and let me know that you would like to host.  I’ll assign you a week (Fri – Thu) to collect submissions.
2. On the Friday following your week of submissions, choose a Best Overall post along with Best of Finding Time, Best of Saving Money, and Best of Having Fun (one in each category) posts and between one and six Honorable Mentions (see Winners below for more info).
3. By Saturday, post the winners in each category along with a brief description.  The post name should link back to the submitters website.
4. Contact the winners and ask them to also link to your carnival page.
5. Finally, create a link back to the Obsessed Analytic Blog Carnival.

Submitting (blog not required)

If you have written a great blog post in the past two weeks or simply have a good idea you want to share with the world, submit it online. Here are some guidelines.

1. Submit one (and no more than one) blog post or document related to Finding Time, Saving Money, and/or Having Fun to the weekly host along with the its URL by 11:59PM EST on Thursday night.
2. If you do not have a blog, Contact Me and I will post your document on my site if you win.
3. The weekly host will respond if you win and ask you to link to their weekly carnival page from your post (required to avoid disqualification).

Winners (win up to $25)

Posts can win one of the following categories.

• Best Overall – the post that best covers the theme Find Time, Save Money, Have Fun.
• Best on Finding Time – the remaining post that best helps readers Find Time.
• Best on Saving Money – the remaining post that best helps readers Save Money.
• Best on Having Fun – the remaining post that best helps readers Have Fun.
• Honorable Mention(s) – 1-6 other posts that relate to the theme Find Time, Save Money, Have Fun.

If you win a category then your website will be featured on the weekly host’s website and the Best Overall post will be featured here, too.

At the end of the year, all the Best Overall winners will be entered to win $100.
